To date, Save A Child's Heart has conducted 30 surgical and catheterization missions and more than 70 cardiology clinics around the world, examining over 9,500 children.
During the months of April and May in 2015, an all female team from Israel traveled to Ethiopia to screen children and follow up with former patients.
On March 12, 2007 a Save a Child’s Heart medical team traveled to Ethiopia and Rwanda for a 5 day mission.
Save a Child's Heart has completed a very successful, first-time medical mission in Azerbaijan on November 13th, 2014.
On September 21st, Save a Child’s Heart medical team left for Luanda, Angola, to carry out the first SACH Cardiology Clinic in Angola.
On May 3rd 2009 Save a Child’s Heart medical team left for Luanda, Angola, to examine and screen Angolan children.
Save a Child’s Heart travels to partner sites in developing countries to perform surgery and catheterization, conduct clinics to evaluate children pre- and post-surgery, and provide on-site training. Medical missions are carried out in cooperation with local partner pediatric cardiac teams.
