To date, Save A Child's Heart has conducted 30 surgical and catheterization missions and more than 70 cardiology clinics around the world, examining over 9,500 children.

On December 28, 2006, a cardiology team travelled to Jordan in order to operate a cardiology clinic for Iraqi children
On October 9, 2007, Dr. Akiva Tamir, Dr. Sion Houri, Dr. Alona Raucher, Rachel Lassry Zahavi, and Sheila Shalhevet headed to Jordan to screen 38 children who had been brought to Amman by our partner organization, Shevet Achim, from Iraq.
On March 4, 2008, Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) held a one-day screening mission to Jordan, examining 30 Iraqi children.
On June 2nd 2009 Dr. Akiva Tamir travelled to Amman, Jordan, to screen Iraqi children.
On February 10, 2010 Dr. Akiva Tamir and Professor Abraham Haileamlak Mitike began a three day mission to examine children in Jimma, Ethiopia.
Save a Child’s Heart travels to partner sites in developing countries to perform surgery and catheterization, conduct clinics to evaluate children pre- and post-surgery, and provide on-site training. Medical missions are carried out in cooperation with local partner pediatric cardiac teams.
