In late March, a team from Wolfson Medical Center traveled to Romania for a week to perform life saving heart surgeries on Romanian children in critical condition.

Save a Child’s Heart has conducted another joint surgical and catheterization medical mission in Romania, at the Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital

On May 14, 2010, Dr. Akiva Tamir and Dr. Ilan Cohen travelled to Iasi, Romania to screen children in need of heart surgery.

On October 16, 2012, Dr. Akiva Tamir and Dr. Ilan Cohen travelled to Iasi, Romania to screen children in need of heart surgery.

During June 7-9, 2013, a screening clinic was held in Romania.

Children traveled to the ”Sfanta Maria” Emergency Children’s Hospital in Iasi to have their hearts screened by Dr. Akiva Tamir and Dr. Ilan Cohen

Save a Child’s Heart embarked its annual women-led cardiology clinic in the Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in order to examine 395 children suffering from heart disease.

Save a Child’s Heart has conducted a successful Catheterization Mission at the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute
